You are warmly invited to a Concert for Peace in support of Ukraine at Backa Church, featuring the exceptional pianists Volodymyr and Tymofii Slakva. The program opens with Mozart’s Sonata No. 11 in A major, followed by Chopin’s Fantasy-Impromptu, showcasing lyrical beauty and technical brilliance.

Also featured are Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in G minor, full of passion, and Grieg’s Wedding Day at Troldhaugen, a festive work. The concert will also include Lysenko’s Elegy, a tribute to Ukrainian heritage, and conclude with Saint-Saëns’ Dance of Death in Listz`s transcription, an exhilarating and haunting piece.
