The Magic of the Piano: From Bach to Tchaikovsky

Volodymyr Slakva is a Ukrainian pianist based in Gothenburg. His repertoire spans several musical eras. The program begins with Bach’s Prelude arranged by Siloti, followed by Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s Fantaisie-Impromptu, Brahms’ Intermezzo Op. 118 No. 2, Paderewski’s Minuet, and seven pieces from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker in Pletnev’s interpretation.
